Our Company


Airswift is currently recruiting for a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer who will be working for a global energy company. The role is based in Paris this residential position starting as a soon as possible, the right candidate will work under the supervision of the project manager.





Brief Job Overview


The purpose of the Electrical Engineer is to be the leader of the discipline for the project, preparing all documentation related with the project scope whilst organising and supervising the work of other engineers. guarantee the compliance from the Contractor within the following subjects: The service holder will oversee Project planning and progress follow-up; coordinating with other disciplines and interactions with client and the project management.


Key responsibilities and main tasks:

• Review design packages for electrical systems and equipment (i.e. Power & Distribution Transformers, motors, generators, High voltage/low voltage switchgear/Motor Control Center (MCC), distribution network, control equipment, power outlets etc.) including drawings, datasheets, detail scope of work, calculations, Bill of Material / Quantity and preliminary cost estimates, Hazardous Area Classification and System Study; Equipment sizing




• Electrical technical buildings or Substations design




• Manage the electrical activities of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors during the Front End Engineering Development (FEED) and design phase.




• Coordinate with Project manager to finalize the Electrical Engineering scope for the entire project / package.




• Carry out analysis of major equipment selected in the design package.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree within the Electrical Engineering field or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering 




• Extensive experience in design, engineering and construction




• Certified Engineer desirable




• Be fully familiar with applicable regulations, codes of practice, international standards (IEC, ASME, etc…), ATEX & IECEx




• Thorough knowledge of the English is required to perform the necessary analysis and studies in depth, make professional presentations and keep up with technical advancements




• Have experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software and all Microsoft office.




• Experience Level: Senior profiles should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.




• Lead Profiles: Candidates applying for Lead positions must have prior experience as a Lead Discipline on Oil & Gas projects.
