Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as a Senior-Level MIW Warfare Exercise Planning Analyst for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Travel may be required up to 25%.

SMWDC’s mission focuses on advancing the Navy's Surface Force through four key areas:

Support Locations:
This role provides support across various SMWDC sites, including:

• SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CA
• Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA
• Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA
• Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA
• Amphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VA

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of Mine Warfare (MIW) exercises, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and strategic priorities
• Develop and refine Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) for MIW to enhance operational readiness and effectiveness
• Collaborate with Navy leadership and stakeholders to integrate MIW exercise goals into broader training and operational frameworks
• Conduct detailed analysis and after-action reviews of MIW exercises to identify lessons learned and inform future improvements
• Provide subject matter expertise on MIW strategy, operations, and training methodologies to optimize mission outcomes
• Ensure exercises and TTP development are consistent with emerging threats, technologies, and Navy operational requirements
• Support cross-functional teams in incorporating MIW principles into joint and combined warfare scenarios

Requirements:

• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required at the time of proposal submission
• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience:
  • Minimum 12 years of recent experience in Exercise Design and Planning for Mine Warfare (MIW) and experience developing Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for MIW
