In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities within the mining operations.Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the maintenance teamDevelop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and strategiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and guidelinesOptimize the reliability and availability of mining equipmentConduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issuesPlan and coordinate maintenance activitiesMonitor equipment performance and propose improvements or modificationsManage and control the maintenance budgetCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives Requirements: Grade 12Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related fieldGCC Mines & Works5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the mining industry.Extensive knowledge/experience in maintenance, hazard identification, RCFA/RCM facilitated and implemented, and procurement.Valid Drivers’ License.
