Senior Maintenance Lead – Quality Harvest Foods

About the Role:
As the Senior Maintenance Lead, you’ll oversee our facility’s maintenance operations, from physical structures to advanced production machinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role demands a seasoned professional adept at troubleshooting, training, and leading by example. You’ll support the development of maintenance best practices, coach and train mechanics and Shift Leads, and build a roadmap for continuous skill improvement and facility efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Training: Coach and develop mechanics and Shift Leads on troubleshooting methods and equipment-specific best practices, strengthening the team’s technical and operational capabilities
- Maintenance Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to construct detailed training roadmaps, prioritize day-to-day maintenance activities, and maintain safety and quality standards
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Lead root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and eliminate manufacturing constraints
- Documentation & KPI Development: Create training materials, troubleshooting documentation, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable progress and team accountability
- Hands-On Maintenance Support: Supervise and perform installations, replacements, and repairs on equipment including motors, pumps, gears, and valves to support facility uptime
Qualifications:
- 9+ years in industrial maintenance with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems; electrical and controls experience is a plus
- Advanced project management, decision-making, and leadership skills; able to prioritize, organize, and execute complex maintenance schedules
- Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Suite; comfortable reading schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting guides
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and motivate direct reports
