Senior Manager, GTM Engineering

What you'll do The Senior Manager, GTM Engineering will lead our Salesforce development team, supporting DocuSign GTM organization. You’ll oversee a team of Salesforce developers, specializing in Sales Cloud, CRM Analytics, and third-party applications supporting GTM. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Engineer – Enterprise Applications. Responsibility Lead a team of Salesforce engineers and developers in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce-based solutions Ensure that the solutions are aligned with the organization's business objectives and strategies Lead the design and development of custom Salesforce solutions using apex and other Salesforce technologies Manage the deployment and integration of Salesforce solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of Salesforce-based systems Manage relationships with key collaborators, including customers, partners, and vendors Have familiarity with Salesforce Platform, Salesforce data loader Visualforce, Java, REST/SOAP APIs, GitHub, Apex, Eclipse, Lightning, and Source control Drive team to deliver towards the target state incrementally Maintain strong relationships based on trust and transparency with primary business partners Oversee the development, evolution and execution of Docusign’s core business technology Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of business-critical systems which includes managing priorities and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment Take responsibility for full scope definition and requirements alignment between technical and business teams Understand the technical design sufficiently to be able to accurately estimate levels of effort and needed skills at the user story (requirement), epic, and project levels Perform capacity planning and ongoing monitoring around available technical resources, ensuring the right resources are assigned to the proper development tasks and proactively identifying and communicating any resource skill gaps Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience 12+ years of industry experience Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Communities, Customer, and Partner portals Experience enabling business users to drive utilization of cloud platforms Experience and proven success in developing technology-enabled systems and processes Preferred 7+ years experience with Salesforce 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Apttus CPQ, Apex, Visualforce Page, Eclipse, API Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt as needed Record of planning and completing complex IT projects Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve and answer key business questions and problems Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with a professional demeanor Ability to interact with all levels of management, colleagues and vendors Well-organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, multi-functional teamwork environment Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to multi-task and manage complexity Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
