Senior Manager Fulfillment Optimization and Planning (SCM) Purpose The Senior Manager fulfillment optimization and planning is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring efficient supply chain goods flow planning, advanced fulfillment solutions, inventory and availability management strategies. This role will leverage advanced analytics to develop innovative supply chain approaches, working closely with demand planning, sales, and other business partners to enhance business performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term omnichannel supply chain goods flow planning strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and market demands. Implement comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain processes where applicable Develop and oversee comprehensive scenario planning frameworks, ensuring the creation of adaptable strategies that promote supply chain resilience and agility. Ensure that robust analytical tools are in place for effective decision-making. These tools can either be developed within the team or requested from analytical departments (such as AA or SCI) following the company’s established process. Leverage advanced analytics to support supply chain plans, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory. Ensure accurate tracking of supply chain goods flow planning accuracy, inventory movement, availability, and take ownership of KPIs related to stockouts and inefficient inventory utilization. Design and strategize fulfillment and planning initiatives in alignment with the Director Omnichannel Fulfillment aimed at improving inventory turnover rates, minimizing holding costs, and ensuring high on-shelf product availability Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Demand Planning, Finance, and Sales, to develop, refine, and optimize strategies within area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with business objectives and coordinating efforts. Collaborate with SCM operations to ensure that supply chain goods flow planning, fulfillment, inventory and availability strategies are aligned with SCM capabilities and constraints. Provide senior leadership with regular updates on performance, including analysis of key KPIs and recommendations for improvement. Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and leverages innovative solutions. Key Relationships: EU Demand Planning Supply Chain Management Europe (Product Supply, OBF, DC Ops etc.) Supply Chain Management Global (Supply chain Insights, Supply chain development etc) EU Account operations, Sales EU finance EU IT Global advanced analytics Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Power BI. SQL knowledge is a plus Good Supply Chain knowledge Operational and project management skills Passion and Integrity – the ability to make commitments and achieve them Results oriented and goal driven Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Higher education degree in Finance, Logistics, Suply Chain Management or equivalent. 5-7 years of relevant experience in SCM, Logistics, Operations, Finance or IT General knowledge of supply chain management (SCM) is appreciated but not required. Ideally 2+ years in a management position Fluent in English (oral and written).
