You will report to Director, Test Engineering. Responsibilities:Develop and implement advanced testing strategies emphasizing automation and performance testing.Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and QA specialists in automation and performance testing techniques.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals and timelines.Design, develop, and oversee the execution of automated test suites and performance testing scenarios.Analyze performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to optimize software performance.Monitor and report on automated tests’ effectiveness, providing detailed QA metrics and performance outcomes.Establish and enforce best practices for automation and performance testing across multiple platforms.Continuously update the testing framework to integrate new testing tools and approaches, focusing on efficiency and reliability.Advocate for quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, influencing software design and architecture for better testability.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing, including extensive expertise in automation and performance testing.Demonstrated leadership experience with at least 4 years in managing technical teams.In-depth knowledge of automation tools (, Selenium, Appium) and performance testing tools (, LoadRunner, JMeter).Proven track record of developing and executing effective QA metrics to drive quality improvements.Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) processes.Certifications in automation tools and methodologies, such as Advanced Selenium Tester or Certified Performance Tester.Experience with CI/CD tools (, Jenkins, GitLab) and integrating automated tests within CI pipelines.Advanced degree in a relevant field.Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
