Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are currently working with a long-established engineering business in the heart of Bolton who have exciting opportunities for 2 design engineers to join their growing business.

The role would suit candidates with experience with 3D design and a good background with tolerance calculations.

Day to day activities include:

• Lead the 2D and 3D design of products (They use Solidworks but other 3D design tools are no problems)
• Managing several small/medium projects.
• Keeping the PDM up to date and of the highest quality
• Follow the path of a design from specification to Factory Drawings, BOMs and Quality as appropriate.

In return you’ll receive a fantastic salary of between £40k-£50k DOE dependent on experience, 5% pension contributions from the client, 25 days holiday and Private Healthcare.
