Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client in Burton on Trent.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced all round Mechanical Engineer with at least 5+ years' experience in Solidworks.



Job Description: As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of the key product line. With a focus on Electro-Mechanical components and fabricated parts, your responsibilities will include:



Ownership: Carry out the design process for crucial product lines, ensuring excellence at every stage and mentor Junior Design Engineers.

Engineering Excellence:Using Solidworks, create customer bespoke and company standard fabricated designs of products. An understanding of Electrical Harness Routing would be very beneficial but not essential

Collaboration:Liaise with various departments, including purchasing and production, to deliver designs from concept to completion.

Manufacturing Expertise:Apply your proficiency in manufacturing methods, encompassing Sheet Metal, Steel and Metal.Key Attributes:



Expertise:Demonstrate 5 to 10 years' of hands-on experience in Mechanical Design Engineering in a Senior role

CAD Proficiency:Display excellent proficiency in Solidworks and must have PDM knowledge
