Senior Mechanical Engineer

Purpose: To quote/estimate/make sure of Scope of work of the overhaul including parts manufacturing based incoming inquiries, site surveys, clarification meetings. Once we get the P/O, you are required to prepare the scope of work and provide technical support to the engineering teams and operation teams including communication with subcontractors and making the CAD drawings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Understands the importance and follows all HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) guidelines. 2. Follows up with the company's Compliance Procedures and completes in a timely fashion all requested Compliance Training. Overhaul and repair work 1. Receive inquiry of overhaul and repair from sales section. 2. Thoroughly study the incoming overhaul inquiry. 3. Prepare overhauling cost estimation and get approval of Production manager. 4. Follow up the customer requirements and provide additional repair cost 5. Make recommended spare parts list and schedule of work 6. Transfer technical information to related persons such as QC teams and Operation teams in charge after receiving P.O. 7. Conduct research and create design proposals for projects. 8. Report results to Engineering manager as requested. Technical service 1. Visit customer to support the Sales activity & to reply to technical questions 2. To make technical specification clear and to notify customer deviation from the specification/ 3. Provide technical support to territory sales. 4. Provide technical solutions to customers. 5. Investigation and resolution of product quality complaints. To provide feedback to manufacturing facilities for improvements in product quality and service. 6. Examines and interprets experimental data, draws valid conclusions, and ensures all information captured is documented and made available for internal use and Intellectual Property purposes. 7. Establish design briefs. 8. Create concepts, performance, and production criteria 9. Produce final hand drawings and specifications. 10. Identify and select materials needed for production. 11. Requests input and feedback from supervisors and fellow associates when technical problems occur or project timelines are threatened; ensures all project objectives are thoroughly understood. Qualifications Bachelor Degree with Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in pump business. Other than the above – Training courses in SELECTRON, Centrifugal Maintenance, Electroplating, SIFCO Selective plating. Communication skills. Computer Literacy. Strategic Planning.
