Senior Mechanical Engineer

ABOUT THE COMPANY.  This company is a medium size engineering consultancy located in Sydney CBD. They provide multidisciplinary services including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Fire, and deliver projects across all markets including healthcare, residential, educational, laboratory and commercial.  ABOUT THE POSITION.  You will be working alongside a team of 6 Mechanical Engineers and will have full-time support from a dedicated drafting team. This position offers mentorship to an Associate position, support, and career progression opportunities as you continue to learn and progress.  DUTIES.    Design HVAC systems for Building Services projects  Conduct calculations including heat loads, pipe sizing, and duct sizing  Training junior Engineers Coordinate and liaise with various stakeholders including Architects  Collaborate with internal Engineers & Drafters  SKILLS & EXPERIENCES.    Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering  Proficient using AutoCAD & Revit (beneficial)   Previous Building Services design experience  Good technical understanding of design and the BCA/NCC  CULTURE.  Employees describe the company as having a fun and inclusive office culture.
