Senior Mechanical Engineer
Salary: £19.45 per hour / £40,456 per annum plus company van and Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Mobile role with base in Brettex, Chesterfield

Due to a growing client and service portfolio, Brettex are seeking to recruit a Senior Centrifuge Engineer to work on water company sites in predominantly Central and Northern England.
The Senior Centrifuge Engineer position would suit existing Field Service Engineers looking for new challenges on project work on behalf of the UK water companies and industrial customers including installations and asset replacement. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pro-active and passionate team.

What you'll be doing;
Work as the senior team leader of a team of other mechanical engineers and mechanical fitters, often consisting of two or more engineers across a range of sites
Carry out complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements
Undertake complex mechanical repairs and modifications dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment
Working under CDM regulations on projects work
Responsible for day to day on site supervision of employees and subcontractors
Undertake standby cover and overtime as required as well as flexibility to work away from home
Complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents
Complete customer paperwork such as permits to work and safety paperwork
Work alongside on site customer teams and sub contractors
Liaise on site with customers as the primary point of contact
Lead the maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment and ancillaries on sewage and clean water treatment facilities.
What we're looking for;
Previous experience working in an industrial environment
Experience leading mechanical installation, maintenance or servicing works
Experience in leading the replacement of assets and maintaining the equipment typically found on water and sewage treatment plants
NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance at Level 3
Full UK Driving License
