Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are currently working closely with a leading organisation who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\n * Take technical lead on product development from design through to delivery.\n\n * Review current prototypes and designs to resolve any product issues.\n\n * Lead on product design using DFMEA, DFM and DFA.\n\n * Take ownership of thermal analysis testing.\n\n * Collaborate with wider engineering teams.\n\n * Communicate and support manufacturing partners and customers when required.\n\nThe Successful candidate will have:\n\n * Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.\n\n * Experience mentoring and leading teams.\n\n * Experience with GD&T, SolidWorks, product development, DFMEA.\n\n * Experienced leading with analysis.\n\n * Strong communicational and organisational skills.\n\n * Experienced with stakeholder management at multiple levels.\n\nIf this role looks like your next challenge, please contact Ben ASAP or apply via this advert!\n\nWe endeavour to reply to every candidate, every time but if you haven’t heard back within 10 days, please understand that you have unfortunately been unsuccessful for this position, or the position has been filled.
