The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join a highly regarded electrical contractor based in Norwich. With a group turnover exceeding £500 million, the company leads in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. Projects range from £1M to over £100M across sectors including commercial offices, data centres, education, government buildings, retail, residential infrastructure, and pharmaceutical labs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans covering scope, budget, and timelines.

• Resource Management: Oversee allocation of staff, equipment, and materials for efficient project execution.

• Budget Control: Monitor financial performance, ensuring costs remain within budget while maintaining quality.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to meet project goals.

• Risk Management: Identify challenges and implement solutions to avoid delays or disruptions.

• Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication.



What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:

o Proven track record managing projects ranging from £1M to £100M+.

o Experience with building services contractors , though main contractor experience will also be considered.

• Skills:

o Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

o Excellent communication and client management skills.

o Proficiency in project management tools.

• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and building services.
