Senior Operations Engineer - Regulatory Compliance (Mechanical)

Location: Barrow-in-Furness – we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: Up to £50k DOE plus overtime

The Operations - Regulatory Compliance (Mechanical) team:

As a part of the Regulatory Compliance team, you will work closely with Engineering colleagues to provide technical support to Engineering Authorities, Asset Management, Projects and maintenance teams.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Operations Engineer:

• Establishing steering group for specific regulation compliance
• Setting regulatory requirements for facilities and equipment
• Producing Reports, Technical Specifications and Requirements documents
• Reviewing design proposals for both new assets and for major modifications
• Checking and coordinating installation documentation (certificates, check sheets, etc.) for new or modified systems

Your skills and experiences as a Senior Operations Engineer:

• Knowledge of engineering regulations specific to engineering discipline (e.g. PSSR, LOLER)
• Practical knowledge Pressure Systems, HVAC, LEV, Overhead crane usage
• Technical document writing
• HNC / HND with suitable experience
