Senior Operations Manager - Compliance - Selby Leisure Centre - Selby, North Yorkshire

Contract Type: 37 hours per week, permanent 

Salary: £31,651 - £33,503 per annum

The Role …

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience within health and safety or facility management, to lead the compliance management of venues within the Selby District.

A key part of this role is ensuring statutory and regulatory Health and Safety compliance of sport and leisure services. It will also cover all aspects of facilities management including contractor, utilities, and environmental management, as well as planned and reactive maintenance.

The post holder will have strong financial acumen, promote a positive health and safety culture and be innovative in developing sustainable compliance management tools.

This role will give you an insight into all areas of the leisure centre operations, providing opportunities to develop your career within Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles and the leisure industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• To contribute, develop and support compliance within Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles, including health and safety, facilities and environmental management. This includes:
• Collaborating with the compliance team to deliver and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
• Ensuring a process of ‘result oriented’ Health and Safety Assessments are implemented and that result in standards being maintained, obligations met, and continuous improvement effected.
• Identifying strategic partnerships within contractor management and monitor cost effective results Compliance, achievement and development against key strategic documentation including the
• Corporate Improvement Plan and H&S Management System
