Senior or Principal Planning Consultant \n\nLeeds\n\nAn established environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Planning Consultant to join their growing team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, providing expert planning consultancy services to a diverse client base.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a key member of the planning team, you will:\n\nLead on planning applications, site promotions, and appeals.\nProvide expert planning advice to public, private, and third-sector clients.\nManage project budgets, invoicing, and financial data.\nReview and comment on technical reports.\nPrepare planning applications, including drafting Planning Statements and undertaking site visits.\nLiaise with consultants, statutory consultees, and Planning Officers.\nAttend planning committees and public consultation events, where required.About You:\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:\n\nA formal qualification in Town and Country Planning (Degree/Masters/Postgraduate).\nFull RTPI membership (or eligibility for Chartered status).\nStrong knowledge of Town & Country Planning regulations in both policy and development management.\nRelevant experience within the private sector.\nA full driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits.What's on Offer?\n\nCompetitive salary based on experience.\nCareer progression opportunities.\nFlexible benefits package.\nCycle to work scheme.\nHybrid working model.Interested?\n\nThe hiring manager is looking to meet with suitable candidates ASAP so if you meet the above criteria, please contact Josh Jones on (phone number removed) or
