Senior Piping Stress Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex pipe stress analysis and engineering tasks to ensure the integrity and reliability of piping systems in various projects. The candidate must be able to justify and defend their design if challenged by the client. This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and engineering within the oil and gas industry. Proficiency in using pipe stress analysis software such as Caesar II or similar tools. In-depth knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. Requires familiarity with all engineering and design requirements, including client provided specifications and all applicable codes and standards. Preferred Skills: Experience with offshore and onshore oil and gas projects. Knowledge of dynamic analysis, fatigue analysis, and vibration analysis. Familiarity with 3D modeling software (., PDMS, SmartPlant, AutoCAD). Experience in liaising with clients, vendors, and contractors.
