Senior Planner - Life Sciences

Permanent, Full Time

Location: London

Salary: £100,000 - £115,000 + Car Allowance + Package + 2 Days WFH

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UKs most successful tier 1 main contractors, and be a figurehead in one of their strongest business arms, Life Sciences.

The successful candidate will initially be working on one of the UKs largest Life Science conversion projects based in Central London in which the first stage consists of £80m office into life sciences-led campus. This is due to run until the end of 2025, which further stages going on for several years afterwards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide planning service for proposals and projects within their life sciences division
• Ensure company best practice and protocols are adhered to.
• Leads meetings and forums for planning staff within the specific division.
• Challenge and review processes to enhance planning best practice that can aide and improve performance and consistency across the business unit and wider planning community.
• Ensure that planning standards become a key strategic advantage to the business unit
• Review projects that have deviated from plan and provide advice on original plan and strategy, subsequent cause and effect and contribute to decisions as to best way forward.
• Develop relationships with consultant, suppliers and contractors.

Key Skills:

• Experience with ASTA
• Degree Educated
• Experience working within Life science, Phama, Labs, Cut & Carve or Refurb schemes (Desired)
• High project value experience £40m +
• Excellent written and communication skills.
