Senior Planning & Reporting

We are looking for Senior Planning & Reporting for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Italy then Iraq

1 year, extendable

Resident in ITALY then Basra, IRAQ

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• We are looking for an experienced process engineer who has already worked on acid gas projects.
• Professional Experience (years): >10 years in oil & gas projects Experience in similar position (years): 6 years at same or equivalent position. Level / Diploma: Engineer or equivalent Languages: English
• Spirit of analysis, rigor, pragmatism.
• Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.

Activities

• During the EGEP Detailed Engineering Phase, the job holder ensures that the process systems are properly designed, integrating various aspects which include specific process engineering features like process simulation, flow assurance studies (or review thereof), development of operation philosophy, HSE and support to S/D planning and installation philosophy and strategy. The job holder ensures interfacing with all required other Project engineering disciplines as well as FOPS and to ensure consistency with the overall upstream engineering work. The job holder participates as required to technical interfacing with other company internal entities and external entities (e.g. other Projects, GMP AGUP phase1 and AGUP phase 2).

Specific responsibilities for process engineer during Detail engineering Phase:

• During the Detailed Engineering Phase, the job holder is in charge to:
• Be involved in all process design aspects of EGF.
• Ensure the process engineering discipline & international norms and standards as well as Company rules (where applicable) are fully implemented during engineering execution.
• Be responsible for the quality review of process discipline documentation, but also other related disciplines interface documents as applicable.
• Verify that comments are returned without delay and with the required quality.
• Contribute to the Process discipline development at detail engineering phase, maintain updated at all times the Process Concept with the latest engineering development.
• Continuously be involved in identification and technical discussions on AGUP 1, AGUP2, GMP interfaces.
• Provide overall guidance pertaining to safe work practices on process in design, risk analysis and hazard management within the project perimeter.
• Review and propose response to letters, technical queries, deviation requests for project management approval.
• Lead the exchanges with HQ experts in case of any project derogation requests in process discipline if applicable or any questions.
• Expedite DBOOM Contractor to issue deliverables with the right quality level and as per the approved MDRs.
• Assess on regular basis the progress of DBOOM Contractors deliverables by reviewing the MDRS for his discipline.
• Participate in HAZOP / HAZID by CONTRACTOR, set-up of action list and close out process.
• Coordinate HQ Project Review preparation and manage responses to as applicable to Process discipline.
• Review and comment process related vendor documents and assist Engineering manager in technical problem solving at all stage of work.
• Attend to vendors meeting as required.
• The job holder provides support to challenge the DBOOM contractors and promote alternatives design to optimize the cost, work, and schedule.
• The job holder timely review and comment engineering documents and consolidate comments related to process deliverables; liaise with other engineering disciplines (for ex. Mechanical rotating, Instrumentation, tech safety and entity (Operations, HSE...) as required.
• The job holder ensures that the engineering activities related to process matters are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, international codes and standards for any process installations with required level of quality, high HSE Standards, with respect of the Project highly environmentally sensitive environment, and within the agreed time schedule and cost.
• If required, needs to contribute to the studies leading to technical decision making and issue recommendation to the Project Management.
• The job holder could contribute to the LLI procurement CFT documents preparation ensuring coordination with the Contractor.
• The job holder supports the preparation and participate to Project technical reviews, provides answers, and ensure timely implementation of the findings.
• The job holder ensures proper reporting, highlight critical issues, and propose remedial actions.

Specific responsibilities during construction Phase:

• The Job Holder contributes and represents the Company for certification process if required.
• The job holder assists the Construction supervision team for their activities (such as procedures review) and the preparation of the pre commissioning activities related to process.
• The Job Holder anticipates and facilitate all interfaces with the other disciplines. Same as any other external entity activities that may interfering with the process discipline.
• The job holder assists the Commissioning team for the preparation of the commissioning and start-up.
• The Job holder will also liaise with Field operation team to assist for the issuance of the operating procedures.
