The Role
As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you'll tackle some of the most stimulating engineering projects worldwide. Your role will involve:
- Designing medium/high voltage power systems using industry-recognized software for analysis and validation.
- Drafting technical reports and mentoring junior team members.
- Driving improvements in project delivery methods.
- Managing the delivery of small to medium projects through your passion for accurate and innovative power systems design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using relevant technical software.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, drawings, schematics, and other design documents across different stages of project lifecycles.
- Model complex networks and perform steady state studies (load-flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash), dynamic/transient simulation, and harmonic analysis to validate and verify developed design.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior colleagues.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and clients in a professional manner within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
- Participate and lead (where required) client and project meetings.
- Identify and develop improvements in project delivery methodologies.
