Senior Sales Engineer in San Jose, CA. ( 100% Remote and will travel to customers in Northern, CA.

Our Customer wants to hire a Senior Sales Engineer with 7+ years of Pre-Sales Engineering experience and a strong Network Engineering or Network Security background. Our Sales Engineers must understand Network Security, Packet Analyzer / packet-switched networks, and Service Assurance products. Would like Sales Engineers with experience in Network Security, Networking, routing, switching, TCP/IP, NetFlow, BGP, and packet switching and who have worked with Cisco and/or Juniper products. Looking for Sales Engineers who have been involved in selling software or hardware. One essential skill is selling software (technology) and hardware solutions. Must be strong in network performance management and application performance monitoring and have a solid working knowledge of Linux operating systems.

TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, BGP, VoIP, Layer 4, 7, Various topologies, LAN, WAN (MPLS, Frame, ATM)

Service Assurance knowledge/experience, Network performance management/monitoring. Application performance management/monitoring Packet-Switched Networks, Packet Analyzer / WireShark, Network infrastructure concepts

Knowledge of AWS / Cloud / VMWare

Have excellent presentation skills.
