The team works across all aspects of the climate resilience and sustainability agendas including: Climate Resilience : Physical and transition risk assessments, scenario analysis, TCFD/ASSB gap analysis, alignment and corporate strategy development, climate vulnerability assessment, heat mapping, urban and community resilience, natural climate solutions and development of innovative digital tools. Sustainability : materiality assessments, gap analysis, Infrastructure Sustainability Rating assessments, corporate and project sustainability strategy. In addition we specialise in nature based solutions to deliver natural capital accounting, TNFD and nature positive strategy development, emerging biodiversity market analysis and development of innovative digital tools.  Leading the change toward a sustainable and equitable future Our Sustainability and Resilience Practice seeks to influence beyond the size of our group, we regularly find ourselves in advisory roles where we can effect significant change towards more sustainable outcomes for our clients who span a wide range of market sectors. We’re looking for someone who is committed to creating positive environmental and sustainability outcomes. Through this role you will be given the opportunity to support the growth of the Sustainability and Resilience practice, developing and enhancing relationships with clients, winning and delivering projects.    We value diversity and the breadth of perspectives that brings. Job Description What will a day in this role look like: Teamwork with colleagues locally and nationally across the Sustainability and Resilience Practice solving problems for our clients Pro-active business development with internal and external clients Providing clear, consistent, evidence-based advice to our clients on the impacts of climate change and identifying measures to provide resilience. Opportunities to work across the spectrum of sustainability including ESG materiality assessments, corporate strategy and disclosure reporting The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.   Qualifications What are we looking for from you? You are first and foremost, a team player with a high level of self-awareness, strong communication and listening skills and demonstrated commercial acumen. Utilising your experience working in climate risk and resilience and or sustainability, you will have proven ability in project delivery, be a critical thinker with experience in business development and/ or building strong client relationships. Your collaborative approach and willingness to think creatively and innovatively in problem solving for clients will see you succeed in this role.   Relevant tertiary qualification, climate change & resilience, sustainability, environmental engineering/science or similar 5+ years Sustainability, environmental or climate resilience experience, preferably in a previous consulting role Demonstrated experience working in multi-disciplinary projects, meeting project goals and deliverables in a timely and profitable manner Experience developing digital tools to support consulting work Proactive in the pursuit of business opportunities and delivery of technical excellence Additional Information #LI-SY1 #work180 AECOM acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we, our clients and our communities live and work around Australia. We pay our respects to their cultures and to their Elders — past, present, and emerging.
