Responsibilities
Support of in-house team in the development and optimisation of isolation processes for peptides (precipitation, crystallisation, spray drying, lyophilisation)
Collaboration in strategy development for the isolation of peptides
Consultation with third-party companies on process development for peptide isolation and the implementation of processes in production
On-site support for the implementation of processes in production
Preparation of filing documents
Profile
PhD or further education as Chemist or process engineer, with strong knowledge of peptides
Multiple years of experience as process engineer in the development of industrial crystallization processes and proficiency with peptide analysis and characterization techniques
Proven experience (hands-on) in the development of commercial processes for the crystallization/precipitation of peptides including isolation and drying
Experience drafting of corresponding NDA/MAA applications
Familiarity with downstream process development such as spray drying, or freeze drying and the development of the corresponding technical manufacturing processes
Fluency in English needed, German is an advantage
Strong communication skills and teamplayer
Ability to think outside the box and analytical mindset
