Senior Product Compliance Engineer

The Senior Product Compliance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines. They are responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of compliance strategies and processes to ensure that our products meet all necessary legal and quality requirements. This role is vital in upholding the integrity of our products and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
On-site: 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement product compliance strategies and processes
• Conduct thorough product testing and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations
• Review and interpret regulatory requirements to inform product design and development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance throughout the development lifecycle
• Lead compliance assessments and risk assessments for new and existing products
• Stay updated on relevant industry standards and regulations to inform compliance initiatives
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to product compliance
• Coordinate with external regulatory agencies and auditors
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance issues and requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO, FDA, FCC)
• Experience in conducting product testing and risk assessments
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to product development
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple compliance projects and priorities
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., RAC) will be an advantage
