Salary: From £54,793

What you’ll be doing:

\n

    \n
  • This role will require you to manage protective security requirements
  • \n

  • You will support the review & analysis of risks
  • \n

  • Ensuring you advise on response to security incidents
  • \n

  • You will be required to support delivery of assurance inspections
  • \n

  • A requirement will be to liaise with key stakeholders to support continuous improvement
  • \n

Your skills and experiences:

\n

Essential:

\n

    \n
  • Proven experience as a Protective Security specialist, with clear exposure to cyber, information and personnel security areas
  • \n

  • Experience in Security Risk Management and auditing (utilizing ISO, NIST or MOD standards)
  • \n

  • Experience of implementing security integration and governance requirements across MoD & industry partnerships
  • \n

  • Demonstrable ability to work with varied stakeholders to achieve outcome-based solutions to protective security challenges and risks
  • \n

Desirable:

  • Proven understanding and experience of operating the JSP440 (Joint Service Publication)
  • \n

\n

\n

The Europe and International Security Team:

\n

The role will form part of a rapidly growing team, with a responsibility to provide a range of protective security solutions and outputs to the Europe and International Business; securing the Hawk and Eurofighter platforms is at the core at of the post. There will be a requirement to liaise extensively with a range of stakeholders and will involve international travel opportunities. The role will bring lots of opportunity for further career development in a key area of the business

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
