Who we are looking for
A Senior Project Coordinator to take the lead on work items delivering in line with the department’s processes and delivery lifecycle.
The Project and Programme Delivery team’s core responsibility is to plan, execute and deliver technology change to our platform. Taking an idea and navigating it through requirement, design, build, test, and implementation and into IT operations.
Reporting to the Project Portfolio Manager within the User Platform (Members) portfolio, you will be delivering work items in line with the department’s processes and delivery lifecycle.
Using previous delivery experience, learning the essentials of project delivery and deputising for Project Managers, this role will provide you with opportunities to demonstrate and enhance the core competencies required to become an experienced member of the department.
Mentoring will be provided for this role to assist you to enhance the skills and core competencies required to become an experienced member of the department.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Main Responsibilities
- Taking the lead on work items, building efficient end to end delivery plans with multiple technical teams, operational teams and third parties and delivering these in line with the department’s processes and delivery lifecycle.
- Supporting Project Managers deputising as required.
- Defining and agreeing the delivery approach to be taken with the delivery stakeholders and Project Portfolio Manager.
- Working with technical leads and management based in Stoke, Manchester or Sofia to build work packages, book resource and provide an end to end delivery plan.
- Monitoring and tracking progress against delivery phases, milestones and deliverables and reporting against the status on a regular basis.
- Ensuring risks and issues are managed effectively from identification through to closure.
- Establishing yourself as a core member of the team, building relationships with stakeholders in order to gain their confidence in your ability to deliver.
- If not already aware through prior experience, gaining a technical understanding and appreciation of the platform and the underpinning technology to improve your technical delivery skills.
- Managing concurrent work items, potentially at different stages of the delivery lifecycle, with Technology, Third Parties and operational personnel.
- Ensuring that key assumptions and decisions are recorded are validated.
