Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

Global E&C are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a multi-discipline project team responsible for delivery of brownfield modifications projects. This is an outside IR35 contract position based out of our client office in Aberdeen city centre.

Your regular duties will include:

• Management of allocated client Project/Modification from kick off to close out.
• Raising scope initiation and population of Request For Service information once assigned to scope
• Aiding in estimate generation were directed in the initiation phase, inclusive of Service Proposal population and CTR generation.
• Organisation and management of the kick off and subsequent progress meetings.
• Development of the overall project budget and schedule and the management thereof in Define and Execute phases.
• Ensuring timely approval of project budgets and CTRs.
• Ensuring delivery of each Project/Modification to budget and schedule, ensuring changes are managed and suitably approved by the client prior to implementation.
• Acting as clients’ primary focal point for allocated Project/Modifications.
• Maintaining a constant dialogue with other Project Engineers, the Delivery Manager/Project Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure project priorities are maintained.
• Providing oversight to a project portfolio of Project Engineers.

To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability in delivering complex client projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Solid communication skills with experience in delivering results across a complex group of internal, and external, stakeholders.
• Experience in managing successful teams.
