The business has over 30 years of trading history and is well established throughout the Pilbara region, providing job security for their staff. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our clients civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of project planning, execution, and completion. Duties: Lead a team of engineers and technicians in project planning, design, and execution. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Daily/weekly planning, progress and productivity reporting and site records Field engineering assistance QA preparation, ITP sign off, NRCs and quality documentation Review project schedules to ensure delivery times are met and communicate with key stakeholders on progress Develop and maintain project budgets. Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet milestones. Collaborate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and documentation. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Candidate Criteria: At least 5 years experience working for a main contractor with a focus on civil infrastructure projects. Experience working on construction projects involving earthworks, roadworks, drainage and civil infrastructure. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques. Experience in cost control. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction. Valid driver's license.
