Senior Project Engineer

Zenviron is a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy and is a market leading engineering, procurement and construction services contractor, specialising in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia. Following the continued growth and success of the business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Engineer for a large-scale Wind Farm Project located in Queensland on what will be industry leading examples when fully commissioned. Key responsibilities will include: • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety, and quality • Manage the interface between the engineering, project delivery teams, and subcontractors to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules, and contract • Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required • Lead the work pack development for the project • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team • Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the projects; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met • Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project What we are looking for: • An Australian recognised, tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, a registered RPEQ would be highly regarded • Demonstrable experience in Wind Farm construction (highly regarded) • Demonstrable on site delivery experience in civil construction, including; bulk earthworks, bridges, concrete structures and/or TMR public roads • Excellent written and technical skills and a confident user of MS Office Suite • An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement • Clear and engaging communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills • Driven commitment to maintaining a safe working environment • Proof of right to work in Australia To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to assist you in building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team orientated approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement.
