Senior Project Engineer

As a result of a growing pipeline of local and international awarded work in commodities including Uranium, Phosphate and Battery Minerals, we are currently recruiting for a  Senior Project Engineer  to join our  Perth  team. About the role  Effectively manage office or onsite activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco’s objectives. Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff are available at the required times to complete tasks. Lead a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing the assigned scope. Manage the work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget. Managing effectively scope changes and trends – actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and management of the change process. Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel. Travel to site as required Unwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve deadlines.  About you  Engineering degree from a recognised tertiary institute or equivalent experience majoring in mechanical engineering  Minimum 12 years of experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects,  EPCM/EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel will be looked upon favorably  Previous experience in process plants and mining projects in operations or construction is essential Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting. Outstanding communication skill and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
