Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radio frequency engineering (wireless industry experience ) and a comprehensive understanding of wireless infrastructure siting. This role involves collaborating with local government entities to provide expert analysis reviewing telecommunication networks construction drawings, structural analyses, FAA and FCC documents and radio frequency measurement reports. Additionally, the candidate will provide guidance, and solutions for wireless infrastructure projects, implementing GIS modelling of 4G/5G and other broadband telecommunications networks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of planning data and maps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of wireless infrastructure applications, including site plans and technical specifications.
• Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with planners, attorneys, and other professionals to develop strategies that balance community aesthetics and safety with technological requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of wireless infrastructure policies and guidelines for local governments.
• Stay updated on advancements in wireless technology and regulatory changes to provide informed guidance.
• Participate in public meetings and hearings to present findings and recommendations as needed.
• Design, implement and maintain GIS databases, including data models, schema and metadata.
• Provide geospatial modelling and analysis services and produce GIS-based deliverables, such as maps, overlays, terrain analysis, traffic counts and city planning layers like zoning, land use and census data.
• Create maps and visualizations using all the ArcGIS software stack.
• Administer and maintain the ArcGIS Enterprise, including configuration, monitoring, upgrades, and troubleshooting of applications and workflows.
