We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with extensive business transformation and people change experience to join a key client of ours in the public sector.


The role:

  • Lead complex and high-profile projects from inception to delivery.
  • Play a key role in shaping projects at the outset, collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop business cases and establish methods for benefits realisation.
  • Establish and manage projects using professional project management disciplines (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2), with a focus on governance, project delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Manage project resources, including people (employees, contractors, third-party vendors), budgets, and infrastructure.
  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time, encouraging a proactive and self-managed approach to tasks and deliverables.
  • Work with stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.


Skills we're looking for:

  • Proven Senior Project Management experience
  • Public sector governance knowledge
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills, with a focus on value for money and procurement processes.
  • Experience in risk management, including techniques for assessing and mitigating risks.
  • Knowledge of people change management practices and the ability to lead complex business change initiatives.
  • Ability to define and implement fit-for-purpose governance controls to ensure project success.
  • Strong understanding of organisational systems and their evolution.
  • AGILE experience


Salary and benefits:

This role is paying between £50-£60,000 per annum with fantastic benefits and career opportunities.
