We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with extensive business transformation and people change experience to join a key client of ours in the public sector.
The role:
- Lead complex and high-profile projects from inception to delivery.
- Play a key role in shaping projects at the outset, collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop business cases and establish methods for benefits realisation.
- Establish and manage projects using professional project management disciplines (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2), with a focus on governance, project delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage project resources, including people (employees, contractors, third-party vendors), budgets, and infrastructure.
- Lead project teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time, encouraging a proactive and self-managed approach to tasks and deliverables.
- Work with stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Skills we're looking for:
- Proven Senior Project Management experience
- Public sector governance knowledge
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills, with a focus on value for money and procurement processes.
- Experience in risk management, including techniques for assessing and mitigating risks.
- Knowledge of people change management practices and the ability to lead complex business change initiatives.
- Ability to define and implement fit-for-purpose governance controls to ensure project success.
- Strong understanding of organisational systems and their evolution.
- AGILE experience
Salary and benefits:
This role is paying between £50-£60,000 per annum with fantastic benefits and career opportunities.
