Senior Project Manager
American Refrigeration is a leader in refrigeration solutions, committed to quality, innovation, and customer success. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee refrigeration projects from concept to completion.
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will manage the full lifecycle of refrigeration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Development & Planning – Lead the development of refrigeration projects for new and existing customers, working closely with developers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
- Project Management – Oversee budgets, contracts, risk analysis, insurance, permits, and compliance while managing schedules and field resources.
- Procurement & Cost Control – Manage bidding, purchase orders, subcontractor buyouts, material takeoffs, and budget vs. actual cost analysis.
- Team Leadership – Provide direction to project teams, facilitate safety meetings, and ensure quality control.
- Project Closeout – Oversee punch lists, final inspections, lien releases, and customer handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in project management within refrigeration, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
