Our Client Services for Industries team has an opening for a Senior Project Director.
This Senior Project Director position provides consistent creative and high quality client-facing project leadership. Employs independent judgment in guiding highly complex activities involved in the successful implementation of an integrated business solution, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard methodologies and systems integration expertise. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure.
You will play a lead role in developing and maintaining the client relationship during all phases of a complex software systems integration project. You will provide executive level leadership and governance over the project and act as Oracle’s single point of contact for the project, using your experience to convey global standard methodologies and lessons learned and collaborate closely with other Oracle Energy and Water customers or engagement teams.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5+ years of complex software systems integration project management experience with fixed bid project consulting budgets in excess of $10M.
5+ year of consulting experience in a professional services or systems integration organization
Energy and Water (gas, water, electric) domain experience
Consistent record to deliver successful Project outcomes
Software Project Management including experience developing work-breakdown structures and project plans, most notably in Microsoft Project.
Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and lead an implementation plan.
Experience leading complex dependencies, risks and issues across multiple projects, client organizations and third parties.
Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable premier software solution.
Experience developing cost estimates for Professional Services efforts, as well as communicating value propositions
Agile Methodology experience preferred
Experience creating and communicating SOW for new and existing customers
Excellent customer relationship savvy, including comfort interacting at the “C” level
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills
PMP, Six Sigma or other Project Management certifications is a plus
Ability to travel as needed (typically no more than 50%)

Hiring Range: from $98,500 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
