We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. Principal Responsibilities Job Purpose: As the TTR Regulatory Change Project Manager you will manage projects and perform business analysis within the overall TTR programme which is responsible for delivering solutions to meet Trade and Transaction Reporting requirements from regulators globally. The projects are typically required to be delivered to a fixed regulatory compliance date and will often require initiation and mobilisation whilst regulatory requirements remain draft, and a level of ambiguity still exists. You will be familiar with APAC (and perhaps broader) TTR regulations and have extensive experience of working closely with internationally based colleagues across MSS Business, Regulatory Change, Technology, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, and other areas critical to delivery. You will have comprehensive and proven project management skills that can we readily adapted to operate within the HSBC change framework and ways of working, as well as aligning to the overall business strategy. Senior Stakeholder management and communication will be second nature to you, and you will manage effective communication and stakeholder plans. The key responsibilities include: Working with the MSS Business, Regulatory Oversight, IT, and Compliance to assess the impact of new TTR regulatory changes on the MSS business Management of projects and business analysis within the TTR programme to scope, quality and schedule parameters agreed with TTR stakeholders and programme manager Securing commitment from teams and workstreams contributing to the project outputs and overseeing their delivery Producing and maintaining project plans, RAID, cost control, resource forecasts, status reporting, governance materials, specifications, and other project artefacts in-line with the HSBC change framework Orchestration and running of project governance forums in order to brief senior stakeholders and secure project decisions where required Maintaining a clear and objective view on project status with associated status drivers and path to green Requirements Local Job Requirements HSBC Markets & Secutiry Services Business is one of the largest of its kind in the world. It combines sophisticated 24-hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets This role sits within our APAC Regulatory Change, Trade & Transaction Reporting (TTR) team and is responsible for managing Regulatory Change projects for the APAC region. The role holder will sit as part of a large-scale global regulatory programme and works closely with Technology, Operations, Regulatory Compliance and other stakeholders in multiple locations to ensure successful delivery of these mandatory projects. The candidate will have the capabilities to effectively manage regulatory projects from inception through to implementation within fixed timescales and may, from time-to-time, be required to manage regulatory projects outside of the Trade and Transaction Reporting programme This role will be based in Hong Kong
