Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders for provide documentations and process improvement that is required to plan for the integration into the DERMs Platform - 1 year contract with chances of extension, Ideally someone from BC, will consider someone remote from other province (must be able to work PST office hours)Must haves:8+ years’ experience in developing, managing and executing project plans, schedules, milestones to ensure deliverables are met5+ years experience in gathering requirements from different stakeholder/executives from different divisions 5+ years experience in implementation System/ERP software system within an large enterprise environment. Strong Relationship ManagementNice to haveExperience working directly with Distributed Energy Resource Management SystemResponsibilitiesThe DERMS (formerly DRMS) platform was initially implemented as a pilot project but moved into production status during the fiscal year ending March. The platform leverages a SaaS solution provided by a third-party service provider. Operational procedures are still relatively immature, so effort to improve documentation and processes will need to be incorporated into planning work for delivery of new integrations/devices and services (functionality).Interact with vendors and internal stakeholders for software improvement (documentations and process improvement) needed to incorporate into the planning for integration into the DERMs Platform Provide recommendation and options for best practices and help us to mitigate risks.Responsible for the Distributed Energy Resource Management System/Demand Response Management System projectDevelop, manage and execute project plans, schedules, milestones to ensure deliverables are metAttend and actively participate in weekly status meetings with vendors and DERMS teamWork closely with the Distributed Energy Resource Management System platform vendor to monitor progress on plan, answer questions, overcome issues, ensure milestones are metSupport the addition of new devices / OEMs to the Distributed Energy Resource Management System platformSupport any new Distributed Resources Program additions per checklist in the Service Introduction Plan, including getting the data required for the DRMS to operate.Facilitate meetings and training sessions for team members as neededLiaise with technical and product teams to answer questions, ensure deliverables are metEnsure all required platform documentation is completed and filed appropriatelySupport other related IT projects that help to deliver Capacity products to customers. These projects may or may not interact with the DERMS.Similar roles and tasks to DERMS but may also include working with other company's owned IT assets, leading or supporting other project teams to develop and execute on project plans
