Our retail client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead full project lifecycles and standardize and enhance project management practices, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.Winnipeg (open to remote), Hybrid, Permanent Must Have 8+ years’ experience in Project or Program Management, managing multiple projects at once and large complex projects (+$1M budget) Experience as a Capacity Lead or similar role ensuring project management practices and processes are standardized, effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Experience on systems implementations or integration projects with multiple 3rd party integrations.Strong business stakeholders and vendor managementExperience managing direct reports for performance, coaching and career development.Nice to Have Agile certification, PMP certificationExperience in enterprise integration projects across multiple different entitiesExperience within a Retail environment and strong comprehension of core retail systems and processesCompetent and proficient understanding of enterprise platforms, such as Salesforce, eCommerce, POS, ERP systemsExperience managing project portfoliosResponsibilities Split responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager (60%) Project Management Capability Lead (40%)Acting as primary project or program manager on key projects through the full project lifecycleSupports the project intake process by developing project charters with business stakeholders.Developing project, program, and portfolio management processes, and updating and support of one or more project portfoliosProject Management Capability Lead: Manage up to 10 direct reports (staff and contractors), providing regular project reviews, guidance and one-on-one mentoring with project managers.Responsible to own one or more defined services within the PMO using service management methodology.
