Job Title: Senior Project Manager \n\n Salary: Up to £75,000 (DOE) \n\n Location: Southampton and Surrounding \n\nAre you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenged with an established and market leading company? This could be your chance \n\nWe have an exciting opportunity to join a large multi-disciplinary UK wide consultancy out of their Southampton office, working in a thriving office and part of an established team. They are a UK leading engineering, building, infrastructure and fit-out organisation, delivering vital projects across a range of sectors \n \n You will be joining the Engineering team as a Senior Project Manager, with the main duty of overseeing M&E installations and  working on some very prestigious and exciting projects.\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\nManage all Engineering Services activities in line with the company IPCD.\nEnsure the safe and efficient execution of the project in line with company IPCD.\nOversee all Engineering Services activities in line with the Project Process Document.\nManage the resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.\nManage project commercial issues and cost reporting (WIP).\nTo identify the clients requirements and ensure we deliver these requirements to the clients’ satisfaction.\nTo represent the company on any internal or external issues.\nPrepare detailed plans and procedures to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with and follow these guidelines.\nManage all project reporting is provided upstream and downstream on a timely manner.\nRegularly audit the project to ensure compliance.\nCommunicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives.\nOversee the project cash flow is positive throughout the life of the project.\nManage the design, procurement, installation and Commissioning to achieve best value for Engineering Services.\nIdentify all risks and manage actions and implementation to mitigate such risks.\n\nWhat we will need from you\n\nA multi discipline senior project manager with experience of working on projects of £10m\nTrack record of managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme.\nProgramme production and management\nAbility to interpret the requirements of the specification\nResolve any technical queries during the contract\nManaging procurement, labour and sub-contractors.\nLeading in managing variation accounts\nLeading in preparing monthly applications\nConstruction management and liaising with supervision team\nSite operations – installation and commissioning\nMaintaining good working relationships with the client and professional team.\nStakeholder engagement and management\nControlling contract costs and variations.\nValue engineering projects to create cost savings.\nCoordinating M&E Services installations\nAll health and safety requirements during the contract including compiling method statements and risk asessments\nCompilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals\nContract values ranging from £5m and above\nHealthcare experience\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n\nDegree: BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering – preferable\nBTEC HND Building Services – preferable\nBTEC: HNC Building Services – essential\nBTEC: ONC Building Services –essential\nCSCS card – essential\nSMSTS course – essential \nComputer Skills - MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.\n\nWhat we can offer you\n\nCompetitive salary\nCar allowance \n26 days annual leave (with the opportunity to buy or sell up to 3 days holiday)\n3 additional long service days achieved after 3, 7 and 10 years\nPrivate medical insurance for yourself (with the option to buy family cover)\nDefined contribution pension scheme matched up to 8%\nEnhanced maternity, paternity and parental leave\n2 days volunteering opportunities\nFlexible and Agile working (dependent on your role)\nEmployee Assistance Programme – including financial advice and guidance.\nProfessional membership fees\nPerks at Work Employee discount scheme offering discounts on a range of categories such as electronics, home appliances, food & groceries, car buying, travel, fitness and more\nFlexible Benefits scheme which includes the opportunity to purchase benefits such as:\nCritical illness insurance (with option to purchase for your partner)\nDental Insurance\nTravel insurance\nCycle to work scheme\nRetail vouchers/payroll giving/activity pass for top leisure attractions\n\nThis role is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to take the next step in their professional career.
