Statkraft is in partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners for the delivery of the North Irish Sea Array Offshore wind farm which is located off the east coast of Ireland and which was successful in the first ORESS held in Ireland.Job DescriptionThe role of Senior Project Manager Offshore acts as the main interface to Head of Offshore Ireland and the project teams for progressing the offshore portfolio in Ireland. The role will contribute to the country business strategy and value creation.Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure successful outcomes and ensure the required resources are in place to support the offshore businessEnsure excellent coordination within the development teams by providing expertise and technical capacity as required for projects during early development stages and beyond.Ensure proper competence and resource allocation to project teams.Ensure involvement and use of resources from central Offshore functions, as well as Technical, Commercial, Procurement and Legal to support projectsAdapt a fit-for-purpose organisation supporting high resource utilisation and mobility across the project portfolio, and across all phases of the project lifecycleEnsure compliance to company governance standards, appropriate nomination to project roles, and develop consistent understanding or roles and responsibilities aligned to Statkraft’s project governance modelWork closely with our JV partners to successfully deliver consent, route to market, land rights, grid etc and maturing projects towards FIDGuide and integrate best practice project management methods across the projects and portfolio. Oversee the overall planning, budgeting, and performance management process within the projectsSafeguard the health and welfare of the workforce.The role report to the Head of Offshore Ireland. Mandates and decision authorities are defined in the Authority Matrix and the Operating Model.The role shall ensure delivery of targets, including:• Management experience of the safety, well-being, and development of employees• Experience of adherence to Corporate Governance procedures and codes of conduct..QualificationsHigher relevant education within engineering and business, preferably at Master´s level.Solid experience fromProject management of large capital investment projects, preferably within renewables infrastructureOverseeing project development processes ensuring compliance to high technical and assurance standardsContractual and commercial problem solvingSolid operational experience and understanding of complex operational and organisational challenges - ability to work in a matrix organisationIndustry/technology specific knowledge and experience is an advantageRelationship-builder with the ability to collaborate constructively with our JV partners, and internal business and functional leadersLeadership abilities;Ability to build trust and empowerment in a distributed organisationRelationship-builder with the ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders • High personal integrity and high ethical standards, with strong commitment to HSSE and safe business and operational practicesStrong commercial mindset.
