Senior Python Automation Engineer (Cortex XDR)

Job Description Your Career We are looking for a highly technical individual to join our Cortex XDR Agent team as a Senior Automation Engineer. The team builds the foundation of the Cortex XDR endpoint agent, from security modules to server communication and task management. We believe automation tests are a critical part of the product release cycle. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and maintaining tests in Python 3. You will be involved in feature and test designs, and work closely with developers, product management and other QA members. Your Impact Develop on all the leading platforms both on End points – Windows, Mac, Linux And Cloud – AWS (Amazon web services), GCP (Google cloud platform), Microsoft Azure and kubernetes Participate in full product release cycles, from feature design to version release Automate tests in Python 3 Maintain existing automatic tests and investigate failures Learn new features and technologies in a relatively short amount of time Qualifications Your Experience 3+ years of experience using an Object–Oriented programming language (Python) Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming design concepts Strong expertise with Linux operating systems Proven experience with cloud-native technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes Experience testing applications on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure -  (preferred) Skilled in diagnosing and solving complex problems while providing detailed technical analysis Knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, and best practices in automation - an advantage Experience with testing network related products – an advantage Security background in general and security programs knowledge in particular - an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English Attention to details and high behavioral standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team, work under pressure and maintain focus and a sense of humor ​​ Additional Information The Team Commitment to Quality: Ensure every release is thoroughly tested, maintaining the highest standards of security and performance across all Linux-based platforms.
