Senior QA/QC Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Senior QA/QC Mechanical Engineer Location: Qatar Experience: 4-5 Years Salary: Depends Upon Experience Main Responsibilities: Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for mechanical engineering projects. Ensure compliance with international quality standards (ISO, ASME, API, etc.). Conduct inspections, testing, and audits to verify mechanical systems' integrity and reliability. Review and approve material specifications, welding procedures, and fabrication processes. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure quality deliverables. Identify and resolve quality-related issues during project execution. Prepare QA/QC documentation, reports, and method statements. Conduct training and awareness programs for quality compliance. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Support internal and external audits and ensure non-conformance closure. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Certification in QA/QC (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP, AWS, or ASNT Level II is preferred). Strong understanding of quality control processes in the mechanical engineering domain. Skills Required: Proficiency in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) techniques. Knowledge of welding inspection and material testing procedures. Experience with construction and manufacturing industry standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office.
