Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils/Highways\n£60k-£70k \nCar Allowance + Benefits Package \nWest Yorkshire \n\nMy Client are a Tier 1 Civils Contractor that operate throughout the UK on a range of major projects. They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Yorkshire Division working initially on high profile highways scheme in West Yorkshire reporting in to a MQS. \n\nSenior Quantity Surveyor Duties to include: \n\n•\tPrelim establishment and maintain\n•\tContract negotiation – scrutinising terms & conditions of contracts\n•\tCost reporting to be completed by the commercial lead, however regular updates to be reported on\n•\tCost advice and input into value engineering \n•\tPrepare monthly cost value reconciliation for project manager\n•\t Risk/opportunity\n•\t Arrange pre order meetings (where necessary), prepare and send out all sub contract orders\n•\t Prepare and agree monthly valuations\n•\t Check and agree sub-contractor applications and final accounts\n\nIdeal Candidate \n•\tThe ideal candidate will have a track-record of delivering complex highways / Civils projects\n•\tA Confident decision maker who is able to take ownership of workload \n•\tKnowledge of D&B, NEC & JCT contract advantageous \n•\tCVR Appreciation \n•\tUK Driving License\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n\nApart from a great pipeline of high profile work with a cash rich company one the big draws for this company is the way they look after their staff.
