Senior Quantity Surveyor - Super Prime Country Property

A leading privately owned contractor are about to commence an exciting £30m new build country property in North London, which will require a Senior Quantity Surveyor.



This 2 year project will see the demolition of an existing country farmhouse followed by the construction of a new family home set over a large rural setting. The property will be constructed with stone walls instead of modern methods. The property will include subterranean leisure facility, outdoor pool, annexe, woodland cabin, garden pavilion and extensive external landscaping.



As well as overseeing the financial progress on this project, you will also have the following surveying duties:



• Procuring & negotiating subcontract packages

• Placing subcontract orders,

• Carrying out subcontractor valuations,

• Authorising subcontractor payments including issuing all relevant notices

• Managing & controlling variations

• Issuing all relevant notices as deemed necessary to both subcontractors and client

• Final account settlements



This role represents a fine opportunity to join a principle contractor, who specialize within the uber prime property sector.



If you are a versatile and client facing Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a minimum of 10 years' experience then this company could be the ideal fit for you. An academic qualification in Commercial Management or RICS would be welcomed.
