Senior Quantity Surveyor

Flux Consulting have partnered with a highly respected, multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in property, construction, and development across the UK.



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team based in their London office. In this role, you’ll take a lead position in managing cost planning, project valuations, risk management, and procurement on a variety of high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities of the role will include:



* Lead and manage the cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for projects.



* Conduct accurate valuations, ensure cost control, and prepare detailed financial reports.



* Develop procurement strategies, manage tender processes, and negotiate contracts.



* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery.



* Assess and manage project risks, providing timely recommendations and solutions.



* Mentor and support junior members of the quantity surveying team, fostering professional growth and knowledge-sharing.



Skills and Experience Required:



* Qualified Quantity Surveyor, ideally with RICS accreditation (MRICS or similar).



* Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction or consultancy sectors.



* Strong understanding of cost management, procurement processes, and contract law.



* Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.



* Proven experience working on diverse projects and managing client relationships.



* Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and cost efficiency.



* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
