About the role:
They are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Bid Management: Lead the preparation of bids and proposals, ensuring all documentation, permits and approvals are obtained and submitted on time.
* Managing the Team: Lead the team to prepare estimates and cost planning for portfolio and/or projects, adhering to estimating procedures, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including labour, materials, equipment and overhead.
* Cost Control: Managing and cost planning projects and presenting final cost plan, ensuring we remain within budget, be able to provide absolute cost certainty in all tenders.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather essential project information and clarify discrepancies in design or plans
* Reporting: Present cost reports, budget analysis, and variance reports to senior management and project teams.
* Maintaining: Maintaining company rates alongside commercial team.

The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of £85,000 to £110,000.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the main contracting (construction) industry, ideally within super prime residential projects. Amongst other skills and requirements such as:
● Quantity Surveying or Construction Management qualification is beneficial.
● Extensive Construction Methodology knowledge and experience in high end residential construction industry. Experience pricing in house trades is advantageous.
● Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders during bid process, coordinating between departments and supply chain.
● Proficient with Bluebeam.
● Proficient with Excel
