Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction firm for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Peterborough. The successful candidate will have proven experience in commercial and risk management, ideally within a senior role at a main contractor or developer.

Key Requirements:



* HNC or equivalent in Surveying/Construction



* Experience in residential housing development



* Strong IT, analytical, and communication skills



* Solid experience in budget management and negotiation



* Experience with COINs is



* Attention to detail and ability to work within a team



* MCIOB or RICS membership ()



* Familiarity with timber frame and other construction methods



Key Responsibilities:



* Drive profitability and cash flow on contracts



* Manage contract and subcontract documentation



* Agree valuations and variations with clients



* Oversee subcontract accounts from inception to final account



* Implement procurement strategy in line with company procedures
