Senior Quantity Surveyor

Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on the Southwark District Heating Project.



Salary - £60,000 - £75,000



Duties



* Change management, loss and recovery and everything is driven on that – self delivery, we are having to TRACK everything



* Bespoke Contract, Broadly similar to JCT.



* Process orientated, tracking, spreadsheets



* Read a programme and understand, outputs how they are built,



* Cube per day.



* Build a cost plan, change a cost plan.



* Track materials, planned returns.



* Being a value minded individual, potential for project to push north of 20 million, being a man marker on this.



* Being experienced at agreeing variations, make a call based on outcome.



Requirements



* Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject



* Working knowledge of utility and construction sectors



* Working knowledge of contract law and commercial practice.



* Knowledge of construction contracts and related procurement contract documents and practice.



* Good interpersonal relationship skills with confident, resilient approach



* Excellent commercial management skills with close attention to detail



* Good presentation and negotiating skills



* Good written and verbal communication skills



* Excellent IT Skills with good commercial awareness



* Ability to prioritize works and meet deadlines



* Managing and Monitoring Risk



* Honest and Reliable
