My client is a market leader in delivering major, off site manufactured data centres around the world. These are construction projects of significant value for blue chip clients.



The company are looking for a proactive Commercial Manager to use their knowledge of contract administration, supply chain and client management. You should have a natural financial acumen with good negotiation, communication and people skills. The company are keen to hear from candidates who have a strong track record of cost and budgetary control; does this sound like you?



Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the role will be responsible for the "pre-contract to final account" of the commercial management associated with the company’s products and projects. This will include subcontractor orders, valuations and payments, cost analysis, supply chain development and assisting the purchasing team to secure long term and profitable agreements in line with business goals and commercial targets.



In summary we are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor or established Commercial Manager who is by instinct strong on looking after the company’s financial interests. Experience in major construction projects is useful, but not essential. Experience in complex, fast moving and technical projects is desirable.
