seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Property Services Contractor based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to manage planned and reactive refurbishments in the social housing sector. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial aspects of a range of housing refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n* Manage and oversee all commercial activities related to planned and reactive refurbishment projects in the social housing industry.\n* Provide detailed cost management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure budgetary compliance.\n* Work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to negotiate contracts and manage variations.\n* Prepare tenders, conduct valuations, and produce financial statements.\n* Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors, ensuring best practices in cost management and project delivery.\n* Ensure projects are delivered in line with company policies and client requirements.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:\n* A proven track record in a similar Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the social housing sector.\n* Experience working on planned maintenance and reactive refurbishment projects.\n* Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge with experience managing NEC and JCT contracts.\n* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.\n* Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS or equivalent).\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.\n\nResourcing Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
